Changes all around

Hello everyone!

I forgot how to do this and I also forgot my password so it has taken me a little while to figure it all out again. Our family is doing well, counting down until Christmas and living on a continuous sugar rush provided by all our neighbors and friends. The kids won't come down until Easter! The baby is also doing well, he is growing and healthy. The doc wants me to start steroid injections in the 32nd week to help him get a little stronger in case he makes an early appearance like the others have. Brent still has not come up with a perfect name for his future linebacker, but the kids all call him Peyton Beck. So we'll see who wins! I think that Brent is secretly still wishing for a last minute substitution of the name Bronco. Brent is as busy as ever and we miss him but are grateful that he has the job that he has and that he is happy. My new news is that like my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law, I have received a new job as well. I am still working at the hospital, but no longer will I be in the dredges as a lowly admitting clerk, no!!!! I have moved up a half step to the position of financial counselor. So now I will be helping people with financial assistance, Medicaid and CHIP, as well as other programs. I will still be working nights, TH-Sat. Hopefully it will all work out. I will start after the new year.
Well, I can hear Christian practicing his Nacho Libre moves on the girls, so I need to run. Have a Merry Christmas and we love all of you!!!

Turning a New Leaf

Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that Jon has a new job. He is going to work for the Ogden School District in their tech department. We are so excited. This is right up his alley with computers and all that goes with it. This is a great blessing for our family. He will be able to be home more during the evening with us and also more vacation time.
I just want to thank everyone who was praying for us. It has really helped.

Love you all so much!!!!

Happy Fall, Ya'all!!!

Well, here is what has happened in our family during October.

Carlie got a black eye while at Nikki's house one Monday. We don't know exactly what happened but it was along the lines of she was trying to reach for a book under Nik's table and the bench fell with Carlie on it. The bench hit her eye. It was a pretty purple color for a few days.

Carlie's new favorite hobby. She loves to take off her jammies and run around the house in her diaper screaming "I'M NAKED!!!" She is so funny to watch. This is what I get to see most mornings when I am either getting ready for the day or cleaning up breakfast. Don't you just wish you could run around the house screaming "I'M NAKED" and everyone thinking it is adorable?
Her first costume idea was to wear her treat bucket on her head. I thought it was cute. You can kind of see the hair cut I gave her. It is up to her ears now. It is so cute on her.

After much coaxing, she decided to be a duck. She loved Halloween. Carlie loved to go to the houses in her costume and get candy. It is the best holiday so far. Everyday since Halloween she has asked to put her costume on and go get more candy. Needless to say, I have had to hide the costume so she will stop asking.

The standard Halloween picture at Mom and Dad's house

Of course, we had to have a picture of Mom and Dad with the kids. It just isn't a fun picture without Grandma and Grandpa!!

I hope that you all had a Happy Halloween.

Love everyone lots!!!!

Our Birthday Girl!

Hey fam! First of all, thanks so much for the wonderful b-day gifts that you sent for Rhees! She's making great use of everything, and loves the amount of "artwork" that she can do with the art kit. She had a wonderful birthday, and asked if it can be her birthday again this week! We missed having you all here for her birthday, but hope you enjoy the pics! We love you!

I also decided to add pics of the girls outside and playing with their new swingset. We decided to combine their b-day gifts (a lot early for Ainslee...but hey she doesn't know any better right) and get them a swingset.

Grandma & Papa Steve - Signing In

Well, we are entering the big leagues. Starting a blog. Posting online is foreign to us, so I think we may need a bit of help with the pictures. We're also excited to see pics of all of you. Can't believe how big all the kids have gotten in such a short time. It seems only yesterday that Dad and I were holding our three little ones and now you are all grown with your own to hold.

We had a great summer, and loads of fun in Tampa. Here are some pictures from our dolphin hunt out on Tampa Bay.We look forward to posting more pictures. Love, Grandma & Papa Steve

Everything is coming up!!

Jen, this will be fun! I just don't know how to post pics so you'll have to give me instructions for dummies so that I can figure it out. I went to the doc the other day and yes there was just one heart beat and one cute little peanut in there. Brent heaved a great sigh of relief at that news!! The ultrasound showed my due date to be May 2nd. He said everything looks good, just not the green shade I've taken on. He has prescribed me some phenergan for the nausea and throwing up, but it makes me sooooo tired that I feel as though I have been drugged. I don't know what is worse. Oh well, hopefully it will just pass soon. Other than that we are just trudging along. Brent is coaching at Rocky Mtn. again and their record is 1-2. Hopefully things will get better. The girls are busy with dance and tumbling and Christian is just busy as usual. Well I'll post later and maybe I can figure out how to post a pic by then. Love you all!!!

A way to keep in touch

Hey family,

I thought it might be fun to start a family blog where all of us could post pictures, videos, or just random thoughts. This way, we can see pictures of all the kids and how big I'm sure they all are getting, and see Nik's pregnancy, etc. Please post and let us know how you are doing!

Love y'all!
Jen
