Hello Wonderful Family!!
Hello all!! I know that you will probably read this on my blog but I just thought that I would update you all on our cute little family. Carlie is doing wonderful. She is in dance and told her teacher on Monday that I need to put on a tutu and crown just like the other kids in class if I am going to be there with her. The teacher thought that was hilarious and did offer me a crown and little tutu to do their princess kicks in. I kindly declined. Carlie keeps us laughing with everything that she does. Maddie is just getting chubbier every day. She now weighs 13.4lbs and is 22 1/4 inches long. She is perfect in every way, but then again, I am completely biased.
Jon and I are doing well. Jon is busier than ever at work trying to fix phones and computers. He still loves his job and we love that he is home at a good time instead of when it is time to go to bed. Work for me has been slow. I have only had a couple of sleep studies this week and next so I don't have alot to keep me at work right now. I do have to work this Friday in Instacare so that will be good.
Well, hope all is well with everyone. We love you all!!!!

Growing and growing
So as promised here are some more pictures of my beautiful girls. Maddie is just growing and growing. She already has a double chin and her birdie legs are starting to fill out. When I had her at the doctor 2 weeks ago, she was up to 8 pounds. Dr Sutherland couldn't believe that she had already surpassed her birth weight. What can I say, I make sure that my babies are well fed and happy.
As you can see here, Maddie is peeking to make sure that I am still in the same room as her let alone on the bed. I just love to watch her sleep. She is so funny. She laughs and smiles all the time in her sleep.

Here you can see that Carlie is a big help to me. She loves to hold her sister and help me feed her. Carlie knows right where everything for Maddie is and wants to always get me a diaper or a clean burp rag.
My precious baby sleeping. Isn't she the cutest thing that you have ever seen? Okay, okay, so I am a little bit biased in my judgement. But she is so cute when she is asleep like this. Always has to have a hand by her face.
Carlie had decided to get into the stickers in my bedroom one day while I was preoccupied. This is what I found her doing in the kitchen when I was able to finally get up off the couch and put Maddie down in her bouncer. Carlie thought she was to coolest thing and was so proud of herself that she didn't put the stickers on the wall, floor, table or anywhere else I could have gotten mad over. After seeing her "artwork" how could I be mad at her. She did a wonderful job!!!
This is mild compared to what her room looks like everyday. Oh well. I will just have to live with the mess and keep cleaning it up at the end of the day. Needless to say that when we have visitors, her door is always shut.

Announcing Maddie Ellen Nuttall
Born Wednesday July 23, 2008
Weight 7 lbs. 7 oz.
20 inches long
3:40 a.m.
Hey all thought we'd show you a picture of our bundle of joy. Maddie was born very early this morning, and true to form she was born and went right to sleep. She is so beautiful, but our opinion is very biased. Mommy and Daddy are very excited to add her to our little family.
We'd love to post more right now but we've only a few hours of sleep. More to come later.
Love Jon, Audi, Carlie and Maddie.

Nuttall update
I went to the doctor yesterday for my regular check up and just wanted to let you know that everything is progressing well with the baby. She weighs about 5.9 pounds and is very active. Her weight puts her a week before my due date of 8/8/08. She is gaining it so fast. I can't believe how fast she can gain weight in 2 weeks!!!! I feel like my ribs are a xylophone. Her head is down and she is ready to come in about 5 weeks (that is up to my due date), but she may make an early appearance like her sister ( I can only pray).
Carlie is still excited about being a big sister, but I think that might change when Maddie finally comes to play. She has asked me several times if we are borrowing her like we do when I watch Chase for Nikki. I don't think she quite gets that this is for keeps, but oh well. I know that she will be a big helper when she realizes that Maddie is ours forever.
On a side note, Carlie is becoming quite the funny little kid. Yesterday she was a Nik's while I went to my appointment. They were watching a cartoon called Phineas and Ferb on the Disney Channel and Carlie started to sing along with the theme song. Nadya looked at her and asked Carlie if she had seen the cartoon before and Carlie replied with an innocent "oh just once". She is funny little kid. She comes up with the funniest things to say that make me stop and wonder where she came from. The other day Jon and I were discussing a matter quite heatedly and Carlie looked at me and said, " Audrie, just calm down". I couldn't stop laughing. She has obviously been around me to much.
Well, everything is great on our end. If anyone wants some peas, beans, squash, pumpkins, honeydew, cantelope, corn, tomatoes, peppers, or whatever else is in my garden, come help yourself. There will be plenty for everyone.
Love you all!!!!

where has everyone gone!?!
so I can see that this blog is one really hot spot to get info, mingle with family and friends, spread a little cheer. NOT!!!! where are all the posts, news, gossip? i'll start us off on the right foot with a new post and that should get the ball rolling again, right?
our family is doing good. the summer stickiness is starting to set in finally and we (and i mean those of us not blessed enough to have central air) are stewing in our own juices. YUMMY!! hannah has been playing softball again and this week is the final games. she has done so well and i am proud of her. her hitting and fielding have improved, if only i could get her to talk less in the outfield. nadya chose not to play this year, but has had fun cheering hannah on and it also has allowed nadya ample time to play on the playground with some of the other kids her age that come to the games. christian is as wild and crazy as ever with his bleached out hairdo. he is a total clone of his daddy and brent couldn't be happier about it. christian has discovered his own little athletic abilities lately and completely kicks the girls butts when it comes to sports. he can hit farther, catch better and throw some of the best insults in the game that you have ever heard. we are truly proud!! (ha, ha) chase is getting bigger all the time and his hair is getting lighter every day. i have a feeling i will continue to be the odd man out in this family of toeheads. brent is getting busy again. he just got back from the annual blanch brother campout at hoop lake and is sunburned and tired, but also rejuvinated and ready to hit the hammers again.
i am staying busier than ever trying to keep up with 4 kids and a dog and a lawn and a new job and everything else in between. who would have thought that this would be my life? i wouldn't trade it for the world. we are truly blessed to have each other, even if that is all we have!!! i am trying to get back into the running game, but have not yet been able to make it past the front porch before someone calls on the phone or someone falls down and bonks their ______(fill in the blank with any extremity). hopefully soon i can work out some sort of schedule and get the last of my pounds off that i have vowed will come off. i am over half way there and feel really good about the progress.
well we love you all and hope you all post something soon!!

It's a ..... MONKEY?!?
Hello family. Nikki asked me if I would put some pictures of Chase on the blog for her. These are the ones that I took the night he was born. He is so tiny and has birdie legs and arms. So adorable. The first was when we first walked into Nik's room and he was so wide awake. He looks just like Nadya. Hopefully this one will keep his dark hair.
This is one of the whole family together. Look at all those blond heads. One of these things is not like the other. Can you guess the odd man out in this family? I just can't figure it out.
Carlie wanted to be a big helper and hold Chase. Of course, he was tired of being passed around and just wanted to eat.
Here is Carlie in her pretty dress from Mom and Dad. She wants to wear it every day. She told me it makes her feel like a princess.

Alright, I will get to the reason for my title. Here are some new pics of our sweet bundle of joy. As you can tell, the baby likes to have its hand up by its face. We went yesterday to find out what we are having and all the ultrasound tech would say is that it is a monkey because it has long toes and fingers. Jon and I just laughed because we know that is how it is in both our families. She kept telling us that the baby could wrap its toes around 3-4 tree branches at once that is how long they are. So, I know you are all dying to know what we are having. After much consideration, Jon and I decided that we wouldn't find out. But then again, Jon knows me all too well and said that we had to or else I would go insane through the rest of my pregnancy. We are having a .......... GIRL!!!! Of course we can't break family tradition. It wouldn't be the same if we went outside of the normal. She is perfect and healthy and weighs about 1 lb 7oz. So, now the only problem is agreeing on a name. If anyone has good ideas, let me know. We are stumped.
Well, that is all I have to say. Just wanted to put some pictures of our beautiful girls and of course our newest little stud on the blog.
Love you all!!!!

sitting and waiting and waiting
hello all special hancock family members
well here i am sitting and waiting and waiting. the doctor has requested that this be my life until the baby is born. he is causing some mayhem here in my stomach and the contractions are getting worse and more painful. so if we can hang out for 3 or more weeks then the baby will have a better chance of being healthier. we did steroid injections this week in order to help his lungs get stronger, but i think that the only thing the doc isn't worried about is his size. he is truly a blanch boy, at 33 weeks is just under 5lbs. which makes me worried that i might be split in two with delivery, but he will be worth it in the end. in case you haven't heard the big announcement his name has been chosen and he will be CHASE BRIAN BLANCH. pretty good, huh? so if you have any funny email, jokes, stories or books to recommend while i am just sitting here then let me know. it could end up being a long couple of weeks. christian is already bored with me and it has only been 3 days. good thing next weekend is spring break!!! we love you all and appreciate all your support and love and prayers, you have know idea what is means to us!!!!
